The ROCKWOOL Group’s main business area is building insulation, providing thermal comfort along with fire safety and acoustical comfort for all types of buildings.

This is the Role:

It is the responsibility of the Line and Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to ensure full maintenance service for the equipment, buildings, and utilities according to the budgeted costs, to pursue plant improvements, ensure compliance of company policies and procedures and to improve cost effectiveness. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is based out of the Factory in Byhalia, MS.

Key Result Areas:

  • Responsible for all employees within the area of responsibility being familiar with, and working per, all health and safety requirements applicable in the area of responsibility, and working towards a continuous improvement of health and safety requirements
  • Responsible for management and development of the area of responsibility and efficiency improvements to ensure optimal achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) specified in Yearly Goal Setting process
  • Responsible for supervising and providing assistance to employees within area of responsibility
  • Responsible for machinery and equipment operating in a safe and reliable manner at any time
  • Responsible for employees hired within the area of responsibility being familiar with and working per RW-US management system with special attention to all applicable policies and procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work performed by employees within the maintenance department is carried out in a professional and reliable way
  • Follow-up as well as reporting of HOKE-activities and results within the area of responsibility

  • Recognized engineering or licensed industrial maintenance experience and qualifications
  • Practical experience in an automated industrial/manufacturing maintenance environment
  • Good people and training skills
  • Computer literate
  • Drive, commitment and high energy
  • Good supervisory skills
  • Project management experience
